Legal notice

Please read carefully: this site is a study and reference tool, and responsibility for the answers lies with whoever uses them.

In one sentence: everything you find on CalcToolsX is educational. Results may contain inaccuracies, and checking every answer and deciding what to do with it is entirely the user's responsibility.

Educational purpose

The calculators, examples, and texts were created to help you study, understand concepts, and do everyday calculations. They are not consulting, expert reports, technical designs, formal opinions, or professional recommendations of any kind.

User responsibility

Whoever uses the site is responsible for:

  • entering the data correctly and in the right unit;
  • checking whether the result makes sense for their case, redoing the calculation another way when something important is at stake;
  • verifying that the tool's formula and simplifications apply to their situation;
  • deciding, on their own and at their own risk, what to do with the answer.

CalcToolsX is not responsible for losses, damages, financial losses, rework, accidents, grades, missed deadlines, or any consequences of using the tools or the information on the site.

No guarantee of accuracy

We run tests and review the content, but we do not promise it is free of errors. Results may be rounded, and some tools use simplified models of the real world. Each tool's page includes a section on accuracy and limits, which is worth reading.

Situations that call for a professional

Do not use the site as the sole basis for:

  • Electrical installations and power electronics. The Ohm's law calculator is educational. Work on electrical systems carries a risk of shock and fire and must be done by qualified professionals, following technical standards.
  • Construction, structures, and sizing of materials where a measurement error could lead to high cost or a safety risk.
  • Legal, contractual, or procedural deadlines. The site's date counting is purely mathematical and does not take into account holidays, specific counting rules, or business-day deadlines set by law.
  • Critical digital security. The password generator creates random passwords, but the security of an account depends on many other factors, such as how you store the password, two-step authentication, and caution with scams.
  • Health, finances, taxes, and law. The site does not offer calculations for these purposes, and nothing here should be taken as guidance in these areas.

Links and ads

We may display ads and links to third-party sites, over which we have no control. The presence of an ad or link does not mean an endorsement.

Copyright and errors

If you spot a calculation error, an inaccurate passage, or content that infringes rights, let us know through the contact page. We review every report and correct whatever is necessary.
